What is PRI?

Postural Restoration (PRI) is an approach that uses breathing and movement techniques to
correct imbalances in how the body moves and holds posture, helping reduce pain and
improve function. to learn more click here: https://www.posturalrestoration.com/about/

My services support a wide variety of individuals— Whether you’re focused on preventing
future issues, improving daily function, or finding relief from ongoing challenges, I offer
personalized care and guidance to help you move forward and enjoy a higher quality of life.

Healing is a unique journey for each person. Some find relief in just 1-3 sessions of Postural
Restoration techniques, while others may need more ongoing support.

The number of sessions you might need depends on your unique history and situation. Many
people notice improvements after just 2-3 visits. In some cases, working with a dentist or optometrist to address underlying issues may mean needing more sessions, sometimes around
6-8.

What makes the Postural Restoration approach stand out is how it integrates the body’s
neurological systems into the healing process. Instead of following the typical insurance-driven
model of therapy—three times a week for six to eight weeks—I take a different path. I usually
see clients once every two weeks and teach techniques designed to change how your brain
understands and controls your body’s sense of position and movement. This helps create more
lasting and meaningful results.

Postural Restoration offers many advantages, including improved overall health and well-being,
decreased pain, and reduced stress levels. It helps lower cortisol, promotes a shift into the
parasympathetic “rest and digest” state, and fosters balanced awareness and function on both
sides of your body.

The first assessment takes up to 80 minutes. Follow-up sessions are flexible and can be either 45 or 60 minutes, depending on what works best for you.

No. As a Physical Therapist Assistant and Exercise Specialist, handling insurance billing is
outside my legal scope of practice.

In your first 80-minute assessment, we’ll talk through your health history, evaluate your posture
and movement, and teach you personalized Postural Restoration techniques. You’ll leave with
a custom exercise program tailored to your needs. Follow-up sessions (45–60 minutes) include
re-testing, refining your techniques, and progressing your plan to help create lasting, meaningful improvements. Sessions are usually scheduled every two weeks to allow your body
time to adapt.

An initial in-person assessment is required. While in-person follow-up visits are preferred for optimal care, virtual follow-ups may be offered on a case-by-case basis.

My services aren’t a replacement for emergency medical care or acute injury treatment. They
may not be the best fit for individuals needing hands-on physical therapy interventions billed
through insurance or those looking for quick symptom relief without addressing underlying causes. If you have complex medical conditions requiring direct physician supervision, we’ll
discuss whether my approach is right for you.
